The wines of Château Taffard de Blaignan : an expression of their region

The wines of Château Taffard de Blaignan are a lovely deep red colour with a vibrant red fruit nose due to leaving the grapes to ripen fully. On the palate, the wines are balanced and round with evident yet ripe tannins. The finish is long. It is of little import that the wine is the expression of its terroir, that the grapes used to make the wine are so perfectly suited to the microclimate of the Medoc that they afford it their best expression, or that hours of dedication have gone into the creation of the wine by knowledgeable and devoted team. What matters is that drinking a glass of wine feels like drinking happiness and health.
